So, I just watched six episodes of SGA, culminating in Miller's Crossing, and can I just say... ( spoilers under cut )

Claire's Shiny Day of Comics
Apr. 22nd, 2006 06:44 pmWent to the comic mart today only to find there was a dealer there selling his stock off for 50p per comic. So I start looking, only to have him see what boxes I'm looking in and say 'Oh, by the way, we're selling the indies for 5 for £1.'

52 comics, £10 and complete ownage of his Battlestar Galactica stock (along with some other stuff) later...
And then Forbidden Planet had their Ninth Doctor books knocked down to half price, so that was more yay.
Now, the question is: do I make more SGA quote icons, or do I start on the masturbation fics?

Oct. 7th, 2005 11:31 pm*grin* I love my Forbidden Planet. I went in today to get my comic order to find they've been given some free stuff to promote Serenity, and they'd put back a poster and a t-shirt for me, as well as putting my name on the approx. 6ft by 4ft fabric banner they've got hanging on the wall.
So, if anyone is in Newcastle's Forbidden Planet over the next few weeks check out the rather large Serenity banner they have hanging over their stairs. Because that's going to be on my wall as soon as it comes off theirs *grin*

Oct. 6th, 2005 07:19 pmOkay, so I haven't just had a box with the base set of SGA season 1 trading cards, the binder and a couple of the chase sets delivered to my house. And since I haven't had that box delivered, then I can't be amused at the fact that out of 20 'Quotable Atlantis' cards, 15 of them involve Rodney.
(I also can't roll my eyes at the fact that the card also writes it as ZedPM. *sigh*)
