So far this year I've written approximately 24,000 words in 40 stories across 22 fandoms. This is about 8,000 more words than I wrote in the entirety of 2007 and doesn't include the fic I wrote for mcshep_match, which adds another ::ahem:: words.

I haz been a writey person this year...

That's a hell of a lot of words in seven months (well, it is by anyone's standards but joereaves!) - not to mention fandoms. I can only manage one fandom at a time, and I've no idea how much I've written; maybe I should try to tally it up.

Lessee... Since joining LJ a few months back and starting to write Primeval fic, I've written at least twenty-eight Primeval stories (it's more than that, but I can't remember the rest off-hand, will have to check my hard drive). And that's since March.

No idea how many words, though, I rarely both with word counts.

Scarily, when I first started writing fanfic I used to be able to do that in about a month.

I normally do a round up at the end of the year, but I've written quite a bit this year and thought I'd do a mid-year thing ::grin::

I rarely put word counts on the stories when I post them, but I like having them just so I know ::grin::

It is, you start off thinking you're never going to be able to write one fic a day for 31 days and then suddenly you get to the end of May and you've managed it :) So much fun.

Not yet, but I think it's two different banks, so it may take up to 3 working days. I'll keep an eye on it :)

Yeah - even though you can be sure that the money will have gone from our account the bank will keep it for no apparent reason for a while! Banks are frustrating like that!
