Right there with you. Dean doesn't know her--how the hell does that translate into being perfect for him? Geez. He likes the idea of her and Ben and their life, but he's not a part of it and it annoys the crap out of me that the writers try to use her as a cardboard stand-in for the "perfect" life that Dean supposedly wants without any thought to what she wants or needs, because it does them both a major disservice.
