Mixed Feelings

I'm seeing elation on my flist about the guy whose been drafted in to write the script to the sequel to X-Men: First Class being Simon Kinberg, who wrote Sherlock Holmes.

The problem? Well, he also wrote X3: Last Stand which, as anyone with a grain of taste will tell you, is a steaming pile of crap that needs to die in the fiery pits of hell.

So, yeah, his history with the X-Men is not a good one here. I am, however, totally willing (and would be delighted) to be proven wrong.

I think the elation is for cherik to grace the screens again. The realisation of the horror of this nimrod's work hasn't really hit yet.
