I was flicking through some of my photos and I realised that I'd never uploaded some of the shots I took at Stonehenge when [livejournal.com profile] alyse and I stopped there on our way back from Cornwall. So, I give you Stonehenge in August ::grin::

After we'd done the Minack Theatre and Land's End on the 19th, the 20th saw us heading to the Eden Project.

This place is amazing. I could have easily spent twice as long in there and taken twice as many photos - and considering I took 850 there, that's saying something ::grin::

So, in what appears to now be a running theme with posts regarding this holiday, let me bombard you with pictures. Er, although not all 850 of them, because that would be bad. Saying that, this post is pretty graphics heavy, so be warned ;-)

So, on the morning of August 19th, we did the Minack Theatre, and in the afternoon we headed to Land's End. I wasn't sure what to expect from Land's End because, well, there's not much after, y'know, the end of the land but sea.

It was, however, very pretty - especially as you looked out to sea.

However, the thing that caught my eye wasn't the walk along the coast (which I actually would have quite like to do if we'd had more time there), and it wasn't the rides in the helicopters they were giving to raise money for the Air Ambulance (although, again, I would have liked to do it.)

No, what caught my eye over the vast crowds of people was, in fact, this:

Land's End have a Doctor Who Up Close Exhibition. Which meant the others lost me. For two hours.

Me, [livejournal.com profile] alyse and [livejournal.com profile] alyse's short person bounced in like geeks on crack and didn't emerge for quite some time.

And since I was a geek with a camera, I took photos. Of everything. From different angles. Twice.

So, I didn't really take many pictures in Cornwall until we went to the Minack Theatre. And then I took about 350 ::grin::

Let me show you my photos. My photos. Let me show you them...

Well, not all of them, just some ::grin::

Is home and knackered and still have an ungodly amount of photos to sort through. Expect a more coherent post about this at some point ::grin::

I took 1,836 photos when we were in Cornwall. Er, oops ::grin:: I shall sort through them when I'm back home and will inflict some on all of you. I warn you now, I discovered the close-up function on the camera ::evil grin::

Now, am at [livejournal.com profile] lost_house's and about to collapse on her (amazingly comfortable) sofa and sleep for a few hours.

Over the past two days I've taken over 1,400 pictures.

This is all thanks to visiting the Minack Theatre, Land's End (and its Doctor Who Up Close exhibition) and the Eden Project.

When I get back home I will sort them out and subject you all to various pictures of moths, plants and carved stone seats ::grin::

Okay, so [livejournal.com profile] alyse will be at mine in about 20 minutes, which means I really should stop checking my flist and get ready, doesn't it ::grin::

Today, it's heading down to London and [livejournal.com profile] lost_house's and tomorrow it's in a cavalcade (can you have a cavalcade with only two cars?) to Cornwall with [livejournal.com profile] lost_house, [livejournal.com profile] temaris and Seph's M.

Holiday, yay! And also, not getting the train, yay! As I may have been a bit enthusiastic with the packing ;)

So, we're driving to London on Thursday and then on to Cornwall on Friday, and I was going to pack tonight. Instead, I have read, surfed the net and been mightily impressed by the Gilette Venus Breeze razor I bought today.

Which means tomorrow I shall run around like a blue-arsed fly, plug in many things to charge them and pack. Pretty much the same as every time I go away, then ::grin::
