So, there's another showing of A Dog's Breakfast (oh thank the gods), and I've sent off my 'Yes, I still want the tickets!', but I haven't had the confirmation back from Wolf and I'm all 'Just send me the damn e-mail!!'

On that note, seiyaharris and saffronra, we're now in at the 4pm (well, be in at 3:45pm) (assuming the damn confirmation ever comes through) show, so is that okay for you guys?


I keep seeing that 'Tell Me What To Create' meme, and I'm tempted to put my name down but I have this fear that no one will say anything to me and I'll be left wibbling in a corner because no one loves me. (Tell me you love me, dammit! Validate me!!)


I keep thinking I should make some cards, but dude! Between reading the porn and watching the shows, I never seem to have the time.


And talking about watching the shows, I finally got around to watching the first four episodes of Ugly Betty over the last couple of days and really enjoyed it.


Also, I have noticed that I seem to have an irrational hatred of the word 'ficcy'. I see people leaving feedback that says 'lovely ficcy' and I find myself growling under my breath. I have no idea why. I mean, it's not like someone once jumped out at me and battered me around the head and body while chanting 'Ficcy! Ficcy! Ficcy!' Maybe it's the kind of word I subconsciously think of being used by kids. Y'know: doggy, horsey, ficcy. Maybe my mind's all, 'Dude, you're reading gay porn! Stop acting like you're twelve!' (Which also, could be a message to other people in fandom...)

Now, if only Wolf would send me that blasted confirmation...

I haven't had confirmation, either, but did receive an e-mail from them (after asking) confirming that they did receive my original e-mail stating I still wanted a ticket.

Try not to worry too much. Although I know that is much easier said than done and, whilst I am far more relaxed now, I still won't be able to breathe easily until all is said and done.

Stupid meme! You are the first fannish person on my friendslist with spine enough NOT to do it. Good grief, if people actually wanted to know what to write, they'd just put up a request for prompts on their own journal and be flooded! No, this is a sending your fiendslist off to show strangers that they like your fiction kind of thing - a love meme under cover of propriety. It's crap! And I totally tried to participate in an ironic sort of way - these people want to be told what to write? Well, I'll tell them! Only you have to research and see what their interests are, and it's still totally pandering to the need to have people tell you to write more of what you have already written instead of doing anything to promote creativity or even actual fiction.

Err... um. So, yes, you're pretty and write well, but that meme is of evil.

Yay!! I can do that. thankfully my office is only a 10 minute walk from the cinema (which, if I remember rightly is about two doors down from Forbidden Planet). So I'll be able to slope off around 3.30 without drawing much comment. I'll have to delegate my 4pm Thursday button pushing duty though.

Because I just can't see anyone surviving that particular action without at least a long stay courtesy of the NHS. But maybe that's just me. And it's a perfectly rational hatred of a stupid word.
