Sigh...

This morning saw me sitting in my work toilets sewing my trousers back together. Such is my life... ::grin::

Oh dear. I hope it turned out ok!

::grin:: It did! And dignity (what I had of it ;D) was restored *\o/*

Opps ... what did you do?

[identity profile] moonlettuce.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I managed, somehow to split the seam along the back of my trousers, thereby nearly revealing my (albeit boxer-shorts clad) bum to the world ;)

The seam along the back of my trousers totally split. Go me! ::grin::

::grin:: If by awesome, you mean dork, then yes ;D The thing was, I totally hadn't noticed the seam along the back of my trousers had gone until I went to the loo and wondered why I could the floor through my trousers ;D

Having needle and thread at work is awesome! It certainly beats having to use a stapler... um, not that I would personally know what that's like.

I had to borrow a sewing kit off someone - which meant I had to ask people and got the invariable "Why?" questions. The next choice was safety pins, and then I would have gone for the stapler ::grin:: Scarily, although I've never had to do it, a member of my team had to staple her skirt back together a couple of years ago...

I always think that staples could be painful if you staple a) the wrong bits or b) leave pointy bits sticking out ::grin::
