As much as I love Joss, I totally rolled my eyes at him bringing Piotr back. I mean, dude! Kitty belongs with Wisdom. (Or possibly Logan. Or Xi'an. But not Piotr.)

Hee! Yes. Will join you in the ranting -- didn't much like his run on Excalibur. But that was toward the end of my time with easily accessible comic bookstores, so I stopped soon afterward. Which is why I'm wondering, when did Joss start in with the Xbooks?

Raab pretty much killed Excalibur. It went from being one of the best selling X-titles to being cancelled within a few months.

Joss writes Astonishing X-Men, which is up to isue 13, so he's done it for a little over a year. He was offered, and since he's an X-fanboy, he said yes :)
