I hate that. But usually I find that what's causing it is my "editor voice" being overly loud. Is that what's happening with you?

Sometimes it helps to write to someone directly into IM. I do that a lot. They make pleasant noises and ask you 'what's next?' and just that little bit of encouragement sparks the creativity.
