Hat, Yay!

So, I took a half day from work today as I still don't really have much stuff ready for the holiday*, even though I fly out on Saturday. I bought a hat (because I burn like a son of a bitch if the sun even looks at me), and some canvas shoes. I ended up getting the shoes in the men's department because all the summer shoes in the women's department were very froofy - all pink and sparkly. And while pink and sparkly can be good on some occasions, not so much with shoes - especially not when I'm wearing them *grin*

And then I went into Collectables and discovered they had a sale on some of their Kipling bags, so I bought a small backpack.

I even bought clothes. Okay, I bought a shirt. But I tried on clothes. And then bemoaned that some of them made me look like some sort of squidgy dumpling person. I mean, I am a squidgy dumpling person, but the clothes didn't need to tell me that. And yes, be grateful I didn't buy the shorts...
