I'm going to be finding this stuff for weeks!

So, a Stargate, a puddlejumper, a laptop, a ZPM, Rodney, John, Ronon, Teyla, Radek, Elizabeth, Carson, a wraith, feathers, glue, wool, cardboard and more poster pain* than I would care to think about later, and first place in the egg decorating competition at work is mine *grin*

I got *way* too carried away with this, but god it was fun!

I took photos and will be gleefully exposing them all to you when I get them uploaded.

*ETA: I, of course, mean poster paint. Although that typo was more Freudian than I would care to admit...

(Also: have discovered that light blue crepe paper is akin to David Hewlett's ass - obviously worth its weight in gold, because could I find it anywhere? Could I hell as like...)

Well, my weekend has been spent boiling eggs, talking to the wife, reading fic and making little SG: Egglantis bodies for said boiled eggs. Oh, and forgetting to buy the right colour for Carson's hair.

And, no matter what Tem anyone says, I'm not doing M-PrEgg. Nuh-huh. *shakes head* whimper

I seem to have a Stargate stuck to my carpet...

You know what thought she put in my mind just now on the phone?

An egg. Male. With a bulge at the stomach.

Er, I appear to have bought all four series of The Professionals. Considering I was actually on the look out for polystyrene eggs, it's a bit of a puzzle. However, I have decided I'm going to use real eggs, as I guess that's what it's all about.

As for what to do with the eggs, I'm still swinging between Yolk Wars and Stargate: Egglantis.

The advantage of SGEgg, is that I could set them up in a scene from Men Are From Mars and no one would have a clue as to what was going on! Hee! And I could do an egg!Hermiod! Dude!

On the other hand, Star Wars is more iconic and recognisable.

But, dudes! egg!McKay. All snarky and condescending and lusting after egg!Sheppard.

Oh, oh, oh, and a little egg!Zelenka and egg!Carson.

Damn, I think I know which one I'm doing...

Okay, so we're holding an egg decorating competition at work for Easter. And my thought was for doing the Star Wars characters. I was happy with that. But then! Fandom hit me and I have all sorts of ideas and I don't know which one to go for. So, what do you think?
