*grin* No matter what I've just been talking to temaris about, I shall not write the 'Stargate as a washing machine' fic. And if I do, it's entirely Tem's fault for starting the conversation with the immortal words:

"Do you think the Stargate has a spin cycle?"

I shall not write about McKay having to go into the wormhole and fix it because the underwire from Weir's bra comes loose and gets stuck in the fixtures. I shall not write about how someone leaves a sock in there and the Stargate starts to leak. I shall not write about how all the washing comes out with a pink tinge because Sheppard's red thong gets put in with the uniforms by accident.

And what do you mean, *a* sock gets left there? It's common knowledge that *all* socks passing through the Stargate disappear. They could ask Daniel, I'm sure he has a very longwinded theory on that.

McKay just rolled his eyes and pulled a second spare pair of socks from his pack. "Here." He held them out to Sheppard, grinning at the look on John's face. Oh yeah, he was *so* gettin' some tonight.

Well, if I pimp a fandom and pairing this year, it's definitely going to be Atlantis and McShep. Hopefully I'll get more people with me than I did last time. (Of course, considering I was pimping Tremors the series and Tyler/El Blanco, that's not going to be difficult *grin*)

Can you pimp me any fics in Atlantis fandom? I read SG1 but as I don't actually follow the show I've not allowed myself to be diverted into Atlantis so far (tho' why, when I look at my fic reading compared to what show's I've actually *seen* I have no idea!).

It sounds like the sort of thing Xocoquetal(?) (you know, I can't spell her name, not ever!) would write.
