I've got extra icons paid up until 4th November, only, since I caved and got a permanent account I don't need them. Apparently, you can transfer them to someone by e-mailing LJ accounts, so, who want them?

First come gets the extra icon space :-D

I've already got icon space till next year from the lovely Starlaces but if no one else wants to make use of it then can always add it onto the time? Will pay you back with something of your choice?

Do you have the address to email to? I know they're transferring paid account time, but I haven't seen anything about extra icons....

Just from the people on my flist who bought permanent accounts, I'm figuring LJ is raking in the cash on this deal. Hopefully they'll upgrade their servers and stuff with our hard-earned money. *g*

According to ryanfitz in this thread (http://www.livejournal.com/users/news/85793.html?thread=23704097#t23704097), if we send an email to accounts@livejournal.com specifying who we want the extra icon space transferred to, they can transfer the extra iconage. Someone additionally notes that if transferred to a free user the icon space remains deactivated until the free user becomes paid, as it is a paid user feature.

The remaining time on my paid account was only 12 days, which I've already given to someone. (And then got guilty for only giving them a paid account for 12 days and tagged on an extra year *grin*)
