Does anyone else who has a wireless keyboard find that it sometimes misses out letters? Because I tried to type earlier and it was driving me insane. Of course, right now it's acting like everything is fine.

Does it matter what angle the keyboard is from the USB receiver at the back of the pc?

Questions, questions *g*

My keyboard occasionally goes capslock for no reason. And sometimes then it keeps all the , . / etc as the caps ewquivalent and won't undo it for a few minutes. I have found no way around this other than the backspace key.

Oh its not just me then? It's a right pain in the arse, actually. I dunno whether the positioning of the receiver or not, I only know that when I get typing something fast, I end up going back to replace all the lost letters.

on the off chance... have you replaced the batteries recently? my keyboard kept doing that until i replaced the rechargeable batteries (and in doing so, discovered that the rechargeables supplied with the mouse were not, in fact, rechargeable. which begs the question, by how much did i raise the probability of my house burning down by happily recharging them for the last six months or so)

It's the new keyboard, so brand spanking new batteries went in it yesterday.

I think it may just be the positioning, as I'm typing without hassle at the moment. And yes, I've just totally jinxed myself, haven't I ;)

I think the positioning must have a lot to do with it, and maybe if the typing is just slightly too fast it takes a little while to think about it. By which point, you're onto the next word *g*

Mine does the same.

I've realized that de-cluttering the desk and making a clear path to the receiver often enough helps. Or changing the batteries. But I'm also wondering if it maybe isn' also of the more cheaper wireless keyboards.

I'm currently ogling a special wireless keyboard from Logitech. Maybe that won't have the same problems?

Missing letters are a real pain in the ass, especially when I'm writing and constantly have to backtrack.

I've moved the usb connector from the back of the pc to the front and it seems to have done the trick, so yay!
