I'm flying down to London tomorrow (going to see Duran Duran with [livejournal.com profile] temaris and [livejournal.com profile] lost_house), and I really need to pack (very little in the way of clothing, muchness in the way of books for T). So what am I doing? Playing online.

On the up side, the EthanFicathon is done, so yay!

I'm supposed to be tidying so I can find the beds for you guys, so what have I done? Painted half the bathroom and around the living room window. And me of course, but that's a mere detail.

I have scrubbed out the bathroom, and have a cunning arrangement in the living room that may dry the mat from the car before I fetch you. The arrangement does significantly reduce the floor space, so it had *better* dry it before I fetch you.

The cunning arrangement also involves the clothes horse, which may explain why everything that is not actively moving now has damp clothes draped over it.

I do hope it all dries before tomorrow...

Also: yay! books!

Have fun at the concert. I saw them a couple of years back, and they were great. :)

Yep, back when I was still writing RPS. :D Bet all their popularity recently has made that fandom flourish.

Where did you see them last time?

I had fun! I think they've already played the US. I'm pretty sure they did the US before they did the UK. But if they play somewhere you are, go see them :-) And bounce!

*smooch*

Bournemouth and Wembley. We saw them in Bournemouth on the Saturday night and Wembley on the Sunday. And a much Duran-heavy weekend was had by all *grin*

We were standing at the Bounemouth one, and it was at the BIC. We walked in, stood for a moment next to the stage, noticed that we were standing next to the set-up for a guitar and that the keyboard set-up was at the other side, promptly walked to the other end of the stage and spent the entire concert about 6 feet away from Nick. I loved the Bournemouth show.

At the end we were waiting to get out of the carpark, and there was no point in moving since the tailback to get out was huge and we weren't in a hurry. So, we put Duran on the car stereo and started dancing. We had someone come over and ask us to turn it up, and ended up with a trail of cars honking the beat to Wild Boys.

I saw them in Bournemouth! I was standing more towards the middle, but I had a good view of the whole stage.

I missed all the noise you caused, though. *g* Got picked up by my mother afterwards because I hadn't learnt to drive then.
