Maybe it's because I was asleep...

Royal Mail tried to deliver a parcel to mine this morning. I say tried, because I came downstairs to a joyful red piece of card declaring they'd attempted to deliver said parcel at 7:05am and then taken it away again because no one answered the door.

Anyone who knows me will tell you the likelihood of me being up at 7:00am is practically non-existent unless I a) haven't been to bed the night before or b) am being forced to drag my arse out of bed due to flights / leaving early for travelling / convention queues.

7:00am voluntarily, though? Yeah, not gonna happen ::grin::

They tried me at 7.20 am on a SATURDAY!!! and I woke to the second knock (didn't press the doorbell) and by the time I got to the door, the guy was driving off in his van. Is this some new exercise in pissing off your customers?

Normally Amazon stuff comes with the daily delivery about 1.30 pm. I know, I shall join you in a grump chorus!
