Verb kept his eyes low, collar around his neck heavy and *there*.

Noun stopped circling him, crouching down and forcing Verb to look at him. "You're going to be a good boy, aren't you."

"Yes, sir," came the answer to a question that wasn't.

"You're going to do everything I want."

And he would. Do it because Noun looked at him with eyes that sank into his soul.

"If you're especially good, I'll make you dangle." Noun purred the sentence, the words slipping off his tongue like honey.

Verb just whimpered, and Noun smiled as he stood.
