I went into the Poundshop (everything in the shop costs £1, for those not in UK) to see if they had DVD cases. They did (a pack of 8 for a quid, which was very reasonable, thank you very much *grin*). However, not only did I buy these, but I bought other crap. So much crap, in fact, that I had to go back half way through the store and get a basket to carry it all in instead of doing the interesting juggling/hopping/balancing thing I'd been doing.

But it's not my fault! They had Dr Who books for £1, and the hardback Attack of the Clowns Clones adaptation.

And pink and silver sparkly pom-poms. But I didn't buy those. Honest. *whistles innocently and surrepticiously hides the mass of pink and silver*

*wanders away, humming 'Give me a C!'*

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Is this the Poundshop on Newgate Street? I may need to investigate then, since I need DVD cases.

And who could resist pink and silver and sparkly? Because, really, that's beyond 'girly' and heading into the realms of pure evil, and therefore should be purchased respected as much as possible.

Or me, although I'm actually Cin's pet but she parks me with strange people all the time and I haven't read Attack of the clones so ok

But I'm not free or available for a £1 - I have expensive tastes but will probably roll over if pampered with Whitley Bay goodies.

Yes! We must all have pom-poms (not that I got any, you understand), and then we can cheer. Cheer for porn!

If you want to throw your address in the direction of:

moonlettuce @ livejournal.com

I may have a present for you.

That may or may not be pink and silver sparkly pom-poms.

Not that I would buy such an item.

Nor would I go back and purchase a second set for someone else.
