So, it all starts with my mother going to Germany for a long weekend (bear with me, this is important later on in the story *grin*). Well, today I get a voicemail. When I check it it's Mum, ringing from Germany. Only, it's not to ask how things are going, or to tell us she's having a good time. No, she's ringing so she can hold the mobile to the TV and go "Listen! It's Smallville in German!" *German muttering* "That was Lex!" *more German muttering* "And that's his dad, what's-his-face. You know, John Glover."

I have my mother ringing my from another country, so she can record German!Smallville on my voicemail.

There are times I truly <3 my family.

Wow. Your Mother is *way* cool! :D

I have trouble getting mine to just *tape* Smallville correctly in the UK for me, let alone have her actually know what's going on and who's who! LOL!

She knows me well *grin*

Also, I posted your Crimbo presents on Friday, so I hope they reach you in time.

They were shipped in wallpaper, since there was an 'incident' with the brown wrapping involving my cat and more claws than should be necessary where paper is concerned.

Heh - that's *very* cool. My mother can't even use a mobile, let alone leave a voicemail message ;)

I made the boyf watch an episode of Alias while we were in France recently just so I could hear the characters being dubbed. Interestingly, Sark was French too (I thought they might have done French with an English accent!), which lead me to wonder whether other Europeans get the whole 'English people are always villains' thing that goes on in tv/movies? Hmm.

*grin* Nope, haven't opened it. It's sitting in my dining room, tempting me every time I walk past it :-)
