Torchwood, Redux

moonlettuceI'm more than amused that within three minutes of the episode ending the entire top half of first page of my flist was all 'Torchwood! wtf! omg!'
The entire scene between Jack and Ianto had Temaris and myself looking at the TV, looking at each other, going "They made it canon!" and both diving for computers to post on LJ.
I now have little doubt that after the others go home early, Jack and Ianto will be in the office playing kinky sex games involving how fast it takes to orgasm. (And seriously, if there aren't at least 17 fics with exactly that premise by this time tomorrow, I will feel completely let down by fandom.)
I should say more. I should say that I loved the episode. (I did.) I should say I thought the storyline was great. (It was.) I should say I thought the acting was great from all of them. (It was.) I should say I think it's one of the strongest episodes so far. (It is.) But honestly, my mind is pretty much stuck on, "Fuck! They made it canon..."
