Overheard at the bus stop...
Dec. 1st, 2010 12:05 amSo, I'm standing at the bus stop coming home from work and it's a) cold and b) looking like a desolate wasteland on the bus front. The water that's run down the glass on the shelter has frozen into funky trails and I'm seriously cursing the member of my team that cocked up some work and then bailed, leaving me to be in work nearly two hours after I should have left trying to fix it.
But, lo, all is not lost. For my standing at the bus stop leads to 'Amusing Things Heard at the Bus Stop, part 17,' which includes gems such as:
- Why did I cut my hair in the winter? My ears are now cold.
- I'm wearing one of my taller sweaters today...
- I should buy a hat. Well, no, I mean, I have a hat, but it has flaps. *pauses* I don't like flaps...
- Well, there's one thing that can be said about the snow. At least the sky's a lot brighter at night...
Also, it's snowing. Again. And I'm wearing a plastic tiara. I feel these things are not necessarily related.
