I wasn't planning on writing Hairspray fic for
mmom, but I had the movie on in the background when I was writing something else and got an urge for Corny/Link.
Title: The Nicest Kid in Town
Author: Claire
Fandom: Hairspray
Pairing: Corny/Link
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Because Corny doesn't belong to everyone.
Link knows he should be seeing blonde hair and a blue gaze when he closes his eyes, fingers stealing underneath the covers and into his pyjama bottoms to wrap around the throbbing hardness between his legs. Knows he should be seeing Amber's lips, smothered in her pink strawberry lip balm, but he isn't. He isn't thinking of blonde and blue and strawberry because he's too busy thinking of dark hair and a sharp suit.
He holds Amber's hand during the day, puts up with her demanding and whining for only one reason, and as long as Mrs Von Tussel keeps him on the show Link doesn't care what he has to do. Because Baltimore and the rest of the Council may think Corny Collins belongs to them, but they're wrong.
Even though Link won't say anything, can't say anything, even though the only ones who know are the walls of Corny's dressing room, it doesn't matter. Because Corny is his, and the knowledge of that makes Link come harder than any thoughts of Amber ever could.
