I'm debating on whether or not to upload my fic to AO3. I might do a trial run with some of the Supernatural stuff.

I hadn't even thought about deleting the LJ copies. They'll still be on here, DW and my website, they'll just be on AO3 as well :)

Oh, please do! It's so much easier to download it onto my computer and/or phone to read at my leisure and keep forever. :)

I've updated some of my later stuff and got lots of feedback very quickly. It's easy to upload - I'd definitely recommend it.

Another vote for uploading them.

The system isn't perfect (if you have something multi-chaptered then it's a lot easier to publish after the first chapter and then add subsequent chapters to the published story rather than add them all in to the draft and then publishing them all in one go) but it is getting better all the time.

As a writer it's so nice to get kudos turning up in your mail when you least expect and as a reader it is so much nicer to be able to download stories in one easy file for archiving and putting on my ereader.

Also I wondered if it might be worth making a Book of Smutty Days collection to gather together stories that were originally included in the zine and which have been uploaded to AO3?

I've started up'ing them, so I'll put at least some of the fandoms up there - probably all the recent ones :D

I'm not sure how many of the BoSD stories are on AO3, but there's no harm in creating a collection for the ones that are there :)
