My non-spoilery reaction to The Avengers can be summed up thus:

I know NOTHING about them, but a friend has been bringing all the movies over for a weekly movie night and we're almost caught up. We JUST finished watching Thor and next Thurs is Captain America and then The Avengers opens here on Friday. (Cutting it close, LOL!)

I am fangirling like never before and have to wait another week!!! I'm taking the day off work and may see it twice. Did you see the 3D or the other? I think I kinda don't want to see the 3D version, but am on the fence. In the meantime, I'll just drown myself in fic.

I love Thor ::grin:: I squeaked and blurted out "Hawkeye!" in the cinema when that hand reached for the gun and then took the bow instead.

Even without knowing any background to the comics, it's a fabulously fun movie. I'm sure you'll love it :D

I saw the 2D version, as I really can't do 3D. Well, I can, but I pretty much have to dose myself up with tablets before I go and it wouldn't be a fun experience.

I took two days off work and saw it seven times in three days ::grin::

YEEEEEEEESSSSSS. I actually saw it today. After DAYS of trying to convince my other half he wanted to see it. We're now planning to see it again... possibly Tuesday. If I hadn't had a bus to catch I would have rejoined the ticket queue line for the next showing....

I was lucky enough to be on vacation in London last week (had a great time). I didn't even realize that it had opened. So I was beyond excited when I got to see it on Friday. LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still can't believe I saw it early. Its like a dream!!!!

Hi Claire. ::waves:: I popped over from alyse's blog (she talks about you *all* the time) because I, too, am EEEEing over the movie. She also told me that you love Jeremy Renner. I've had such a crush for the longest time. Since the Hurt Locker, I think. Anyhoo, I'm over trying to score some Natasha/Clint fic cause I NEED IT!!! I really like them as a couple.

I'd like to say Al talks about me because I'm awesome like that, but, in all honesty, it's pretty much because she's stuck with me ::grin::

As for Clint/Natasha:

So far the only Avengers fic I've finished and posted is Clint/Loki, but I've got several started - mainly Clint/Coulson and Clint/Natasha/Coulson :D
