I've got NaNoWriMo, and the SGA Secret Santa, so I really shouldn't be looking at fanfic100 and thinking 'Hmm... no one's taken Hermiod or Tyler/El Blanco yet...' (Or David Hewlett/Joe Flanigan - not that I would do that, because it's wrong and bad and wrong *glances at seiyaharris*)

And speaking of the SGA Secret Santa: alyse, are we supposed to participate in it? Because I want to, only it kinda eliminates the entire 'secret' bit when you're the people handing out the assignments *grin*

Also: the icon was totally inspired by katemonkey and a certain photo she took of the_lemur at Connotations *g*

I dunno. On the one hand, it does eliminate the secrecy but on the other, we're going to end up writing a lot of fic for it anyway (me being a pessimist ::g::) so why shouldn't we have one request written for us?

You could divide in two the participants; Alyse handles one half, you the other. So, you can give Alyse her assignment and she can give you yours.

If we do decide to request, I think the best thing to do is make the best matches we can between what's requested and people's strengths as authors, and then take what's left.

A bugger for us, but probably fairest all round.

Also, we have about 64 requests in and still two weeks left of sign-ups. The majority of people signed are slashers and, at the moment, it's looking like McShep will be the predominant pairing :-)

But, yes, that way is probaby the most fair :-D Although, if one of the fics left is requesting something like Atlantis/Puddlejumper mpreg with angst, then all bets are off *g*
