Is it rude to butt into a conversation on someone else's flist and tell someone you don't know that you think they're talking a pile of crap? *grin*

Depends how much of a pile of crap they're talking!

Well, personally, I think they're talking the crappiest pile of crap that ever crapped ;)

If it's just that they don't see the GIANT WORM slash . . .

Dude! Everyone sees the giant worm slash! It's just that the vast majority of people have sublimated it. But it's still there - buried in your subconscious, waiting to escape...

Is it wriggling?

Yes. It's wriggling and squirming and Tyler knows that it's wrong, but he doesn't care. He's bent over his truck with his jeans around his ankles and El Blanco's tongues running over him and he doesn't care. And he should, he knows he should. Blanco could kill him without even thinking about it, so Tyler shouldn't feel as safe as he does. He shouldn't be thinking yes and more and please. And he shouldn't be shifting his legs wider to accommodate the questing tongue that's brushing over his ass. Touch light and careful from Blanco as his tongue presses against Tyler's asshole, slick and ready as it presses inside...

It also depends on how politely you tell them and whether you can back up that it's a pile of crap. Citing sources is the closest thing to flameproof knickers you're going to get ::g::

It's fandom related, so I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder, but I'm reading a comment she's posted about something and thinking 'How can you even think that? It's so far past wrong you're going to be hitting the moon in about 5 seconds!'

*g*

Maybe I should just back away from LJ and start writing the smut I've promised to people ;)

It might be rude? But I am frequently tempted to do exactly that. *g*

*g* I know it's a bad idea when the opening sentence of any comment I make starts out "Bitch, please," in my head.

I've just resisted that urge five minutes ago when I wanted to respond to someone's comment in response to someone else's comment on a third person's post that she was using what I thought were some rather strawman type arguments.

It's just too damn tempting when you see someone doing that to snort, type and hit 'post'. And then think, 'Maybe I shouldn't have done that...' *grin*

Eh...I say tell them if you don't mind getting into an argument. Sometimes people need to be told that they are full of crap and need a swift kick in the ass.

Well, hell - it was the urge to do exactly that which first for me sucked into actually getting an account in the first place.
