Soup and Lightsabers, Oh My...

I think the lack of sleep from the weekend is finally catching up to me as I came in and fell asleep for three hours. I staggered out of bed about an hour ago and I'm now drinking spicy parsnip soup.

I have the bizarre urge to write for sga_flashfic and make them all mutants. 'Elizabeth Weir's School for Gifted Youngsters.' And then I sat and wondered which powers I'd give to them. I figured Kitty's to Rodney because of the entire genius thing. And Ronon would have to get Logan's. And Teyla would totally get Ororo's, because if anyone deserves to be a goddess it's Teyla. But the one I wasn't sure of was John. I mean, I could give him Scott's, but I think Scott's a twat so I don't think I'd be able to write it. And then I thought, 'Ooh, Remy' because John could totally pull that off. Of course, that means I'd be shipping Gambit/Shadowcat *g*

In other news, a lightsaber arrived at my house... which is never a bad thing *g*

This is very true. Adorkable Rodney would not be adorkable at all as Scott. Trinityofone wrote him as Wolverine, and Shep as Rogue which I kind of liked, except for the whole 'can't touch each other' and 'ew movie-verse!Rogue' reflex that Claire seems to have inculcated in me!

I actually thought of Rodney=Hank, but the whole gentle blokey thing doesn't work for McKay at all.

*G* Or Zelenka=Kurt? There's something about them... it's probably the slight body and vaguely European accent ;-)

Rodney=Hank was the obvious jump when calra followed the genius thread but it just doesn't work. hank is just too... nice :)
