Escapade

So, lost_house, temaris and I fly out on Wednesday, and I think it's now been decided that we're heading back to LA on the Monday in order to do shopping for the shiny things before we fly back to the UK on Tuesday. Ah, flying back on Tuesday, arriving in London on Wednesday morning, waiting in Heathrow for six hours before my flight to Newcastle, and finally getting back home sometime on Wednesday night. And then being in work on Thursday. It's gonna be fun. If not exactly coherent.

This will be my first slash con in five years where I haven't been running it. Although I have a feeling the size difference between Escapade and Connotations may be more than a few *g*

And also, is there anyone on my flist who is going to Escapade and would like me to bring anything with me? I was planning on bringing general Cadbury's stuff, but I can grab specific chocolate / biscuits if anyone would like stuff.

btw, were there any mails after about 5pm? i can't remember which threads i added my home mail to & which i didn't :) (i.e. did we agree on a hotel & am i supposed to be booking it:)

Tem can't access her work email at the moment, so she says anything we decide is fine. I'm fine with either Carmel or Best Western, so feel free to book which one you wanted :) (Er, yes, if you could book, that'd be great *g*)

the confirmation should be in your mail but carmel. i figured for one night, the ocean view & balcony is not really worth the extra $60 & carmel will give us a 'complementary continental breakfast' (which is american for a tray of coffee & a pastry in the lobby i think:)
