So, we had the egg decorating contest at work this year again. However, due to the circumstances surrounding my life at the moment all the plans I had went out of the window. (This now means that I have spare paint and about eight months worth of toilet roll tubes in a bag. Although at least that means I can get a really early start on next year...)

But I couldn't not do something. (Mainly because I sitting at work feeling rather depressed and doing stupid shit always cheers me up.) So, I stole a bandage out of the first aid kit and grabbed some black card, a Kinder egg and a pair of scissors.

Let me introduce you to my entry...



Yes, it's silly and knocked together in about ten minutes, but he made me smile. He also came second, which meant I got chocolate, too.

Also, yes, I'm still around. Just not much, y'know.

Hehe. I miss those Egg contests. I will always remember Brenda's Finding Nemo, and the fact that weeks later you could see the odor of the rotten egg in the jar like some sort of mystical smoke.

Egg-cellent (sorry!) - looks like the kind of thing I'd do (I think I'd jst cover it in green fabric and say it's hiding in a forest - I'm not very art/craft-y).

Someone did this house with about seven eggs in all done up as pigs, with little ears and tails. It was very cool :)

One of the judges actually commented on the little fingers and how they must have taken me ages, and I was all O_o, er, not really...

Well, my other thought was just putting a random collection of things together and saying it was an egg fancy dress party. "This one's dressed as a stapler, and this ones dressed as a pencil..."

Yeah, it's the same number. (Initially I was planning on giving my mum my phone and making very very sure that I kept the phone number, as it is I just traded my old phone in and swapped the SIM cards. But I had already made a very large luminous mental note that should my mum get my phone I had to make sure I kept the number!)

It's got a camera. I am unreasonably happy about this even though I currently have no way of transferring photos or video from it to my computer.
