Halfway through and I've hit the anthropomorphic car stage... ::grin::

It takes you weeks to persuade Bonnie to fit the addition to your systems before she eventually gives in, eventually allows you to have your way. And you know she's aware of exactly what you're doing, exactly what you're after. You can tell with every touch of her fingers, with every connection she makes inside of you, with every comment given in her light, teasing tone.

But when she twists together the wires you've never told her about and adds in programming you'd only ever dreamed of, you fall in love with her a little bit more. Spark and electrons and code all running together in absolute harmony and finally, finally, she runs her hand over your hood and tells you you're ready.

So you take to the long, open highways, to the roads that have no end. And every time Michael wraps his hand around your gearstick - hot and sure and perfect - you tell yourself that this is the last time, that this time, this time, you'll remind him that you're an automatic.
