alyse. Dude! I loved it :-D Robert Downey Jr was born to play Tony Stark, and Stan Lee as 'Hef' had me giggling like a loon.
And when Coulson came in for the first time and introduced himself, all he go to was "Strategic Homeland Intervention--" before my mind had filled in the rest of the acronym and if you'd been sitting within a couple of inches of me all you'd have heard was a sub-harmonic chant of "SHIELD, SHIELD, SHIELD, SHIELD--"
Jarvis was absolutely ftw.
And the end bit after the credits! Dude! As soon as I saw the eye patch, all you heard from me was a squee of glee. I'd been avoiding spoilers so I didn't know the end bit was going to be Fury.
Definitely enjoyed the movie.
They had an advert for The Incredible Hulk on, and it looks so much better than the Eric Bana one was.
But the most important part of the cinema outing was that we now have tickets for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Oh, hell yes. (Even if my debit card did make the machine at the cinema break ::grin::)
We then went toalinak and davechicken's for a night of geekery, and I finally got home at 2:00am ::grin::
