I just tried to sign in to my bank account online as 'moonlettuce' which, just in case people weren't too sure, isn't actually my real name. d'oh...

Never mind. I spent a week in an emo funk because I thought I'd have to take the car into our nearest town, pay for a multi storey and walk further than my back would like, in order to get at my child benefit.

Then I looked at the back of the cashcard and saw the Link logo...

The number of times I've got at least halfway through signing off as 'Temaris' and thought, wait, no. Bad Plan... *sigh* it's just as well I've barely ever handwritten it, or I'd be signing it half the time, I reckon!

Well, see, if you pick a completely normal name like this one, then you could use it in RL and not be mocked (more than you already are ::g::). But then it gets very confusing when you realise that's not actually your real name either ::g::

(When I picked it, 16 years ago, I wasn't aware it was a real name either, cos I'd heard of Elyse but not Alyse.)
