moonlettuceSo, I went shopping to the MetroCentre with alyse today yesterday. It's actually the first time I've been shopping on Boxing Day, and it didn't seem too busy in the MetroCentre itself, but some of the shops were manic. Purchases were made in Lush and Hotel Chocolat, and I bought myself a couple of pairs of new boots in the Evans sale (boots that cater to wide feet and fat calves ftw *\o/*).
Most amusingly, though, I'm now the owner of a pair of four-inch purple stilettos. For those people that know me (and are now, no doubt, making O_O faces at their computers), no, none of that sentence was a typo. They were £7 and it amused me heartily to buy them. I'm even threatening to wear them into work. And I'm totally blamingalyse for being an evil enabler who enables like an enabling thing.
Today, we shopped like shopping things, and it was really rather fun :D
