BookSlut strikes again!

moonlettuceI went shopping today, with the intention of only stopping off in Forbidden Planet to pick up my comic order and grabbing a copy of the soundtrack to the Buffy ep 'Once More With Feeling' from somewhere. Two hours later and I'm coming home with comics and without OMWF CD (because the release date has been put back), but also with 7 books and a CD collection of the Rocky Horror Show.
I couldn't help it, though. What was I meant to do when I walk into one of the second-hand book shops in Newcastle only to find a large box of hardback books with a sign saying "1 pound each"?? (And I had to type that out because for some reason, the journal won't let me use the pound sign *sigh*) Indeed I did the only thing I could and dived right in. 4 hardbacks and a book about werewolves later, I left and continued on my way to FP.
It was there that I bought the other two books. This time... Smallville!! They had the first two SV novels in, so, of course, I couldn't leave them there, could I? Unfortunately I doubt if either of them are going to be a hotbed of sex between Lex and Clark, but I can always hope {g}
