Ahem. Now I've calmed down I should probably explain the earlier outburst to people who have no idea what's going on. (Note the mass optimist in me assuming people other than those I'm actually seeing this weekend are reading this.)

There's a convention. Well, two of them actually - CultTV and SG-5. I was signed up for SG-5 because I've done all of the SG cons and JR Bourne is going to be there. (Yes, I'm a Martouf girl. And?)

And then we heard that about 30 miles up the road the CultTV con was happening over the same weekend. Not only that, but Dirk Benedict was going to be there. And since DB was going to be there, so were we {g}

The thing is, DB was the first guy I ever had a crush on. Starbuck in Battlestar Galactica and Face in the A-Team. Heck, the BSG thing is still with me, since I'm list owner of the BSG slash list. And now I'm going to come face to face with him. Eep!

Personally, I think I'll just end up standing in a corner, looking at him and meeping every so often. Tem and Lil both have differing views, since they've both told me they'll drag me over to him if they have to. But you know, it's *Dirk Benedict*. If I can get over that, then I'm sure I'll be able to speak to him without gibbering like an idiot {g}
