Apparently the latest rumour is that Keanu Reeves has been signed up to played John Constantine in the Constantine movie now that Nic Cage has pulled out. Now, Keanu is pretty to look at, even if his acting ability does leave quite a lot to be desired. But Keanu Reeves as John Constantine?? In fact, *any* American as John Constantine? You can't Americanise Constantine. It would be like, like... valiantly looking for a euphemism that would work... like saying that Jack O'Neill belongs with Sam and not Daniel - it's a travesty that shouldn't even be thought of. All I can say is:
