Am debating on whether to stay an extra day after the Serenity convention and go to Collectormania in Milton Keynes on the Monday.

Question is, do I want to go somewhere where I know I will ended up dropping money like there's no tomorrow straight after a con, or do I search about under the couch and see if I can finally find my impulse control gene?

Hmm. If you are an Denisof or Shanks fan, then definitely go, because their appearances up until now have been rather rare things. Although, keep an eye on the Denisof front in case he has to cancel nearer the time.

Well, AD I saw at End of Days, and MS I've seen at two Wolf cons and SFX 2003, so it's not like I haven't seen them before.

And yes, AD is prone to eiher cancelling or disappearing half way through, isn't he, bless him.

I think I'll end up seeing who else is going to announce before I decide for certain :-)

Your impulse control gene and my impulse control gene have booked a last-minute trip to the Bahamas and have no intention of coming back anytime soon. So let's go together!

(Actually, I've just discovered that it works out that I have the entire week after the convention off from work (Yay!), so I'm starting to contemplate staying in Britain a few days longer. And either way, it's very likely I'll be going to Milton Keynes... I haven't made up my mind finally yet, but I am very familiar with this inner feeling I have about it. It means 'you're gonna cave, so you might as well admit it already.')

Sweetie, it's been well-established that you don't *have* an impulse control gene. Just start budgeting now for all that spending you'll do at MK. Because you *know* that you'll end up going there...

I do so have an impulse control gene. I'll have you know that on 13th March 1997, I showed impulse control. I was going to buy a book and I didn't. Impulse control to the max *grin*
