Avengers and the Convenient Coulsonsleep

So, I just read an article (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/55655 - Avengers spoilers, for those who haven't yet seen the movie) which is about the author theorizing that Coulson isn't dead (he ISN'T! ::sticks fingers in ears:: la-la-la-la) and the reasons why he thinks that.

But, the bit that got me giggling like a loon was one of the responses, which was:

The Son of Coul isn't dead, he simply entered in the Coulsleep.

Because I now want a fic where Phil enters convenient Coulsonsleep every time he wants to avoid something. Just picture it:

Clint: Hey, Phil, what's this I hear about you dating a cellist in Portland?
Phil: *Convenient Coulsonsleep*

~

Steve: Apparently Coulson watched me when I was sleeping.
Clint: Oh, he did, did he?
Phil: *Convenient Coulsonsleep*

~

Clint: Phil, it's your turn to take out the trash.
Phil: *Convenient Coulsonsleep*

~

Just think of all the scenarios in which convenient Coulsonsleep would be, well, convenient *\o/*

Coulsonsleep. I like it. It would probably mean that Phil is a literal god, though. Probably not from Asgard; another pantheon entirely, maybe. Hermes, that's who he'd be, god of messengers (and spies). Um. Now I really want to read that fic. Um.

Just think of all the arguments he could have with Thor. "Your brother gave birth to a horse!" "But at least he never tried to turn into a swan just to bed someone!" It would be Pantheon Smackdown ::grin::

I so so hope those rumours of Clark Gregg being in talks for IM3 are true. Because yes, I have become thoroughly convinced that Fury really is that much of a bastard. We never saw or heard that medical team call him! And we know Fury is a lying liar that lies!
