SGA and eBay

Okay, so I'm scanning eBay and I come across this:

Will someone in the SGA fandom tell me if I'm imagining things, but I'm sure that picture was done by one of the McShep people. I just don't know if it's the same person who is offering it on eBay along with the script for Sanctuary.

I don't know if the pic was photoshopped, but what I do know is that none of the pictures shows an actual script; they just show a cheap pocket folder with a single sheet of paper -- an amateur print-out sheet of paper, I might add. I'd want to know where the script came from, what exactly a "continuity script" is, etc.

I also that what you're buying is irrelevant, as it's a front for the "free" printouts of pictures, since TPTB frowns on selling their copyrighted pictures and photomanips thereof.

This is the kind of thing that gets fans in trouble. *g*

Looks like whoever is selling didn't have the permission of the person who did the original manip.

If it was only print outs of official photos then I'd have less of an issue. (Although I'd be wondering why someone would buy a downloaded and printed out copy of a script and a picture, when you can do it yourself for free *g*)

That picture was done by one of the McShep people, because it was, for a time, my wallpaper.

Gimme a minute and I'll see if it was posted to the community, in which case it should be in the memories.

Well, I've left her a comment on her original post. Not sure what she can do about it, but she may be able to alert ebay, even if she can't claim the 'copyright' per se.

She's got the comment and is taking steps, including alerting people that it's hers.

I hope eBay are able to do something about it. I don't know where they'd stand considering it's fanart. They may say it's not copy-rightable.
