So, the problem with still living where you live when you were at school is that you sometimes see people you were at school with. Cue me, on the Metro with someone I was at high school with sitting opposite me and trying to make small talk.

Y'know, I don't really care who's married and what you're doing now. There are people from school that I wanted to stay in touch with, and, therefore, *have* indeed stayed in touch with*. And guess what? Gee whizz, hun, you weren't one of them.

*Also in lost_house's case, it really probably is more of the fact that she just can't seem to shake me *g*

Yes! This is why Friends Reunited is evil. Evil I tell you! I don't want to know that they've all had 8 million kids, been in prison, own half of Birmingham. I don't want strange emails from a person who beat the crap out of me in primary school telling me how good it would be if we could catch up, because, frankly, if I lose the teeth I have now another set won't grow in their place!
