Take me away from the one-eyed men...
Jan. 21st, 2006 07:13 pmSomeone on scifibrain.com posted a list of the Top Twelve Slashiest Couples.
There's explanations behind each of them, but the basic list is as follows:
12) Kirk/Spock (Star Trek)
11) Simon/Mal or Jayne (Firefly/Serenity)
10) Cyclops/Wolverine (X-Men)
09) John/Rodney (Stargate: Atlantis)
08) Bashir/Garak (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)
07) Chakotay/Paris (Star Trek: Voyager)
06) Mulder/Krycek (The X-Files)
05) Clark/Lex (Smallville)
04) LotR Guys (The Lord of the Rings)
03) Angel/Spike (Buffy: The Vampire Slayer/Angel)
02) Jack/Daniel (Stargate SG1)
01) Jim/Blair (The Sentinel)
The only one I blinked at was number 10. Scott/Logan is probably the biggest slash pairing for the movie (even though it's blatantly obviously that Erik and Charles are ex-lovers *grin*), but where the comics are concerned, I would say not. Maybe it's more to do with the lists I'm on, but I would say Bobby/Remy is a bigger pairing than Scott/Logan is. Hell, Remy/Logan is a bigger pairing than Scott/Logan is *grin* And Bobby/Jean Paul is up there, as well. (Possibly because that one's canonical.)
Of course, I completely understand that my initial reaction of 'Only in the movie-verse!' is merely symptomatic of my entire gut reaction to Cyclops - which is, and will always be, "Eewwwww!"

Also, I like Scott. :) But my whole interest for Scott/Logan is based on the movies, not the comics.

Date: 2006-01-21 07:35 pm (UTC)I like your icon, because it reminds me of my insane plot bunny : Atlantis as a prison colony, from where Rodney, John, Teyla and Ronon escape. They then become pirates. ;)

Date: 2006-01-21 09:34 pm (UTC)And you're right. Though my fav slash pairing in X-men is Scott/Logan, I do believe it's just for movie!verse. I got into the comics after the movies, and only really The Ultimate X-Men... in which I don't see any C/W at all.
