I'm trying to ftp files across to Slashcity for BYC (BSG archive) and the ftp isn't letting me transfer anything.

Can anyone who uses SlashCity tell me if there's anything I'm meant to do, beyond the obvious, because everything I've tried isn't working.

I'm using LeapFTP, and it's driving me insane! Argh!

Are you going with eFiction? If so, put the data folder outside of public html then, and make sure it's .../.../data (or whatever you've called that folder).

That way no one can access it to hack.

Use their browser interface -- go to the control panel and then file manager. It's far easier than the whole ftp thing.

*blink* You would? I'm pretty sure I just selected everything for Connotations and uploaded it. It might even have been drag and drop. I could be confusing it wth some other site, but...
