Beta?

Does anyone fancy giving a quick beta to a SGA story? It's McShep and a little under 6,000 words. I want to put it forward for a zine whose deadline is mid this month, but I'd like someone to check it over to make sure it reads okay.

(Tem, I know I'd normally ask you, but I didn't want to interrupt your holiday :-)

The story's not bad at all; I love it. I hope you know how much I like your writing, always. I'm just not happy with letting you have the easy exit that you've got there. And usually I'd phone you and talk it over and that's not an option at the moment.
