Question for the Buffy fen

Okay, has Xander *ever* referred to Willow as 'Wills' in the series? Has anyone - but especially Xander? Because I know he's called her 'Will', but I can't remember any time he's called her 'Wills'. I'm seeing 'Wills' used more and more in fanfic, and I'm sure it's just fanon, and it's making me want to scream...

If it is fanon then I shall feel justified in my screaming. If it's actual canon, then I shall retire myself to a corner and scream in silence.

I've done some googling of studiesinwords.de (not thoroughly, but a bit) and haven't ever found it in the scripts and transcripts. I think there was also a discussion of this on the sxandv list a while back, in which it was deemed fanon.

Many don't mind it, and it's not as bad as "Xanpet", but it drives me up the wall. It just sounds off to my ears.

I'm with you on that one. For some reason it just throws me completely when I see it used. It jars me right out of a fic. I won't stop reading a fic because of it, but I must wince every time it's used.

You know, I've seen similar questions and discussions in so many separate places now, I'm starting to think I should research and make an official list for when I get around to setting up my own webpage again.

Only disadvantage is that I would have to watch every single episode of Buffy again.
