If it *was* mouth-to-mouth, it didn't look like he knew how to do it (at least, we both think he didn't pinch the nose? We can't quite remember. At lifesaving club they told me that if you don't pinch the nose, the air goes straight back out, anyway). Mama and I are inclined to think that it was more like the Gwen/Owen-style interaction than a life-saving attempt. After all, Jack did say that he almost thought he could die. ;)

I'm really not convinced that was mouth-to-mouth. Will have to watch again (repeatedly), but it seemed to me there was not so much of the head tipping back and giving air. Really more on the I-can-actually-imbue-life-with-my-kiss-so-I-might-as-well-slip-him-the-tongue-at-the-same-time.

Though I'm slightly disappointed with this ep, in that it josses the porn I was going to write, wherein Gwen walks in on Jack in his room at Torchwood HQ and finds him shagging Ianto senseless. *is sad*
