Claire: sitting at work, realising she hasn't actually booked a flight down to London for Peg2 yet.

Claire: on the BA website, looking at return flights from Newcastle to Heathrow and back again.

The train down leaves Newcastle at 7:18 in the morning.
Flying Vs Getting up at gods awful time in the morning and having an extra £70 to spend in the dealer's room on total crap.
Yeah, you totally know what won *g*
On the upside, the GNER trains have power points in them, so all I need to do is plug in Sheppard, queue up something to watch and ignore the world around me.
(They're also apparently all WiFi enabled. It's free in first class and would cost about £8 for 3 hours, which is the duration of the journey.)
