It's in a ceramic teapot and we can't see through it!" and then you'd be all *pout* and they'd be all *rolls eyes* and then it would descend into some sort of emo tea issue scenario.

If you have largish glasses that are relatively thick you can make individual cups in those and still see the prettiness (pint glasses work especially well I've found) *g*
