So, I didn't really take many pictures in Cornwall until we went to the Minack Theatre. And then I took about 350 ::grin::

Let me show you my photos. My photos. Let me show you them...

Well, not all of them, just some ::grin::

I didn't realise until I got there just how gorgeous this place was. This shot was taken standing at the top of the theatre and looking down.

And the view is really just beautiful.

Really beautiful...

And from a different angle ::grin::

Quite a few steps, but well worth it...

If just to look down and see the waves crashing over the outcrop of rock that sticks out.

The seats are stone, with names and dates of the plays that the Minack has hosted on them. (I'm assuming they cut a new one in each time they host a production.)

Seat A1 is The Tempest from 1932, which was the first production the Minack saw:

However, the most scary thing about this day was that it was the day I discovered the close-up function on my camera. Which I then proceeded to use at every opportunity. And I do mean every opportunity...

Small, empty snail shell? Click!

Spider web against a chair? Click!

Snail on a plant? Click!

Another snail on a plant? Click again!

Bugs on a plant! Click those too!

And then I went butterfly stalking in the gardens. Butterflies, however, are shy and retiring type creatures who kept flying away when I was trying to photograph them, so I only got a couple of shots:

Moths, on the other hand, are complete camera sluts that not only posed for me but, at one point, actually followed me to another flower I was taking a picture of and started posing again ::grin:: Since I felt that it was only fair to take their pictures after they kept posing for me... here, have some pictures of moths:

These aren't the only moth pictures I took, but I figured I'd stop at five ::grin::

So, yeah, the Minack Theatre... I definitely recommend it if you ever get a chance to visit.

::grin:: Feel free :D The moths were lovely and accommodating, which made up for the butterflies and the bees later in the week ;)
