I got the two disc X2 DVD today. For only £13.99. At Sainsburys! Sainsburys! And Morrisons are selling the four disc extended version of The Two Towers for only £19.99 when it comes out on Tuesday, which is way cheaper than I've seen it anywhere else, including Amazon and Play. Yay for supermarket prices!

Wheeeeeee! Planned impulse buying on Tuesday!

Also, am going to see Matrix Revolutions tonight. Hmmm... should I take a book and a torch?

Me too. Couldn't believe how cheap it was when I went there today. Good tip about Morrisons re The Two Towers, although I don't know of any Morrisons round here, alas.

It was a definite yay for Sainsburys today :)

I'm lucky in that there's a Morrisons near where I work. I'm going Hobbit-hunting on my lunch break on Tuesday :)

:) We Dutch have a gift-giving celebration at the start of December and I already know I will be getting The extended Two Towers.

But let me know about Revolutions, because I still plan on seeing that film. Do I need to start looking for the batteries of my torch? (I could have used a book during that rave scene. Which I thought very beautiful. Until I started checking my watch and thinking 'come on, are you still not done yet?')

Revolutions was pretty good. It wasn't nearly as bad as Reloaded, which I constantly checking my watch through.

Makes you wonder how HMV and co can justify selling them at the prices they do.

True. And we all know the things are so cheap to make too.

Well...

So I went to see Revolutions today. My brother and I wanted to go together, and what with SP and other stuff I'm pretty busy for the next few weeks, so we managed to find a little hole in our agendas to see it today.

You were right, it started out pretty good. But you'll never guess what happened.

During the scene, how do I put this obliquely to not spoil people, where Trinity tells Neo what she wishes she'd said at the end of Reloaded.

That's right...

The projector broke down. And could not be fixed. 45 minutes of finale still not seen... *breaks down wailing* and like I said, I don't have TIME to go see it again soon!

It's not fair.

Oh, and did you already know about the guest changes for SP? Sean apparently put those on a messageboard, but didn't bother to send them to the Starfurylist so I only now found out. :(

I hope you got your money back. Or at least a free pass to see it another time.

And I hadn't heard about SP, so I just zipped over to the message board to have a look. The way it's going Sp will have one guest there, and it'll be me! lol!

It's a bit bizarre that he didn't post to the list. I mean, not everyone hangs around the message boards.
