The stupid thing is it's only a tv show. I *know* it's only a tv show. I *know* that these people aren't real. They're only actors. Vampires don't exist. Wesley was never really a rogue demon hunter, Fred was never really stuck in Pylea and Lorne isn't really green.

But, dammit, we went through the wringer with these guys. We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we hoped, we grieved. We wanted to bitch-slap Angel, and then we wanted to throw him at Wesley, naked.

So, yeah, it's only a tv show, but it was *ours*, dammit, and they had no right!

I know. I mean, established fanbase, established cast and crew that work well together. It's another network's dream. I guess we can always hope HBO pick it up. I mean, they show OZ, so just think of what Joss could get away with. Wesley/Angel/Spike, here we come...

Although, what that thought left me with was prison!AU. Wesley, just coming into teh prison after being set up by the others in his company to take the blame for their embezzlement. And Angel and Spike, serial killers who take a liking to the new boy...

Thing is, they are talking about potentially making tv movies next year.

Which, of course, *would* be a good thing.

Except...

It means, 'we don't wanna make it, but we aren't going to let anyone else buy the rights to make it either, nyah nyah'.
